I came across my first Van Staal's about ten years ago and looked forward to the day I could afford a pair. Lucky for me, I have a great friend that bought me a pair. Needless to say, I will not carry another pair of pliers offshore fishing. They are ergonomic and easy to grip. Cutting edge is superior. You can actually use these to remove a hook out of a fishes mouth without bending the jaws. The corrosion resistance is unheard of in the fishing plier industry and these meet the demands of a saltwater environment.

I use this pliers for little over 2 years. They are just ok, regular fishing pliers. Cutters gets dull like on any other cheap pliers. They don’t even have split rings top.

This pliers are for customers who thinks that most expensive things are the best. Well, not in this case.
